Font Source Book

I've started to record the books I use for each brief now, which I should of really done from the beginning. I found this book really useful when trying to source typefaces and inspiration to use for the Fedrigoni invitations, promotions and look book.

Arnsdorf SS11 look book

A great little look book for Arnsdorf's paper inspired Spring/summer collection 2011. The book is designed by RoandCo studio and they took inspiration from paper folds and cuts. It's smart how the book folds out into different shapes creating several ways to look at the content.

wax seal?

We started to think of more ideas relating to the invitations to the exhibition and the idea of a wax seal to hold the envelope/packing closed came up. It would give the invite a personal hand crafted aesthetic but it might not be quite relevant and is probably just another 'idea we've fallen in love with'

examples of exhibition layout/presentation

Through looking at these images and exhibitions I'm trying to get a good idea of how to best visualise our pitch for an exhibition.

looking into fashion exhibitions

to get an idea of how we can visualise exhibiting the fedrigoni collection, I've been looking into how other designers have displayed paper designs. This exhibition uses just a mannequin to showcase the clothing. We could go in this direction of simplicity and not over complicate things.
